Susie Talbot
Lawyer, Economic and Social Rights
Susie Talbot is an Australian-qualified lawyer, with a BA and LLB (Hons) from the University of Melbourne and an LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights (Dist.) from the University of Warwick. After practising as a commercial litigation lawyer (focusing on intellectual property disputes) in Australia, Susie spent time in New York working on human rights and international legal issues. Prior to joining INTERIGHTS in 2012, she worked as a lawyer at various human rights NGOs in London including Minority Rights Group International and the Kurdish Human Rights Project, where she pursued strategic case work and advocacy before the European Court of Human Rights and various UN Committees. Susie has a thematic interest in economic and social rights issues, particularly the right to education, the right to health, and the human rights of vulnerable people.
