Legal Team Co-ordinator, Europe / Economic and Social Rights
Holds BA in Sociology (2001) and MA in Conflictology (2003) from Yerevan State University, Armenia; and LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, UK (2007). Prior to joining INTERIGHTS, Arpi worked with various NGOs in Armenia promoting women’s human rights through campaigns, awareness raising and training projects, as well as through submission of a Shadow Report to the UN CEDAW Committee. Arpi also provided research assistance to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, Professor Paul Hunt, in support of his mandate.
