Volunteers
Summer Legal Volunteer
INTERIGHTS is pleased to invite applications for a self-funded summer legal volunteer.
The placement will provide a unique opportunity for a law graduate or LLM student to develop their legal skills whilst assisting our lawyers with legal research and writing on international and comparative human rights law and practice. This is a full-time position over two months, from 28 July to 5 September 2008. Volunteers are not paid, but INTERIGHTS will provide a small allowance for lunch and cover travel inside the London area for each full day worked.

Africa Volunteer / Intern
INTERIGHTS has a volunteer / internship opportunity for a law student for three months commencing in September 2008.
The volunteer / intern will assist the Africa programme lawyers with general legal research relating to human rights in Africa, and other general administrative tasks as necessary. Candidates should send their CV’s and a cover letter to Juliet McDermott at jmcdermott@interights.org by 1st August 2008.
The position is for three months, from 1st September 2008, for a minimum of three days per week. INTERIGHTS will provide a small allowance for lunch and cover travel inside the London area for each full day worked.
Funded Internship on Women’s Human Rights for a Visiting Lawyer
INTERIGHTS’ Europe Programme is pleased to invite applications for an internship as part of the development and implementation its work on Women’s Human Rights. The six-months internship will be offered to a lawyer from Council of Europe states within Central and South Eastern Europe/ former Soviet Union and will begin in October 2008.
