Holds Masters degree in Africa studies from SOAS where she studied Islamic Law, Religion and Change in Sub Saharan Africa and Studies in African Thought. Part qualified Licentiate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She has worked as a Human Resources professional for public sector and INGOs in interim roles whilst studying and in permanent roles since 1998.
