To assist INTERIGHTS' work in delivering ECHR training programmes, we have designed legal manuals for use by the national trainers and lawyers participating. These manuals were initially intended to facilitate the instruction of local experts who train on INTERIGHTS’ training programmes but also serve as a unique reference for lawyers wishing to familiarise themselves with a given article of the ECHR. Manuals have been used in training programmes in Croatia, Russia, Serbia and South Caucasus.
Each manual includes a theoretical part on the standards of the ECHR in a given area and a compilation of citations from the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
New editions in the series, covering different articles of the ECHR, will become available on this page as they are published.
